At St. Andrew’s we were required to take a “sport” every season. Theatre could replace a sport. For some reason I did not continue my baseball career in high school. My first year at SAS I had an independent running program in the spring. I think the second year I ran the lights with Oli for the school play. My VI Form year I was in the play. That was a stretch for me. I don’t recall how that came to be, but that Bentley, Oli, and Shriver were in it too, I gather we all decided to do it together. I really don’t remember.
I do know I had to wear tights. We danced and were extras. No, I had no romantic lead.
