Not wanting to sit on my duff and not do anything now that I had left Florida and returned to New Jersey, I took a desktop publishing course at Atlantic Community College in Mays Landing.
When I had left Boston, I had learned computing. I thought, perhaps, a course might helped me to develop even further. It did, but certainly not in the manner I had planned.
It became evident right away that I knew more than the professor did. He acknowledged it. Because of that, I was left to design what I wanted and how I wanted it.
No surprise, I earned an A for the course.
