I did not have a great day caching. I drove up Shamong from From the Shop. I stopped a little over a mile away when I came to a little river that crossed the road.
I hoofed it all the way down. I saw no clear path in when I was .25 away. I kept going a little further then found a deer path, it appeared. Along the way I spotted the marker in the accompanying photograph. Does anyone know what that is?
I circled about zeroing in on the coordinates. Alas, I was not able to find this. The GPSr was acting oddly. I am not certain it was the area, the firmware I am running, or an oddity with the birds, but I would get close and then be sent in a different direction, etc.
I’ll be back to try this another day.
It was a nice walk in the woods getting here.
