Don’t Hold a Grudge, Train Your Judge

Don’t Hold a Grudge, Train Your Judge, 12 August 2013

Rhonda Young, Division D Governor, asked me to present at the club officer training this evening in Mount Laurel at the Comcast Building. She asked me to speak about contests, specifically training judges so results will match the criteria on the ballots.

As soon as I signed off on this, my sister announced she was coming for a visit. I did not plan this speech prior to her arrival. What ended up happening was that I did not practice this speech much.

Uggh! I started off okay, but I had no freaking ending to this and I stammered. Also, my mouth went dry like it had never done before.

Lesson from this evening: practice! I cannot wing it; I am not good enough to do so.

Also blogged on this date . . .
