“What Do You Do?”

Last week I joined the CITO Crew for a walk for 30 letterboxes. Outkast was on the walk. We chatted some. I asked him at one point, “What do you do?”

Why?

Listening a lot to The Minimalists these days. They have a rift about that question. To them, we ask “What do you do?” to judge the other. Place them on a socio-economic scale. Compare the other to ourselves.

I’m afraid that is exactly the intent of my question to Outkast. It was wrong.

I used to peruse one’s bookshelves. I suspect that was for the same reason. Love people and use things because the opposite never works.
