What a surprise! I didn’t realize the next issue of this series was Christmas. Fancy that, I read it on Christmas morning!

This issue cops plenty from Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!. Fun stuff right there.

I might be missing something from my reading. The newspapers report on crime in Gotham. Because the crime sprees have happened on Halloween and Thanksgiving, the newspapers attribute the crimes to someone named Holiday. Joker appears to be bothered by that and threatens Dent, Maroni, and Falcone about being Holiday. But isn’t it Joker who is Holiday. And if so, why the threats. Confused on that.

The art is very good in this one. I love evil Joker.

Batman is introspective, somewhat feeling as though Gotham is attracting the weidos because he is there. Gordon hints at that.

We get a glympse of Arkham Asylum and meet Calendar Man, a complete whack job!
