This geocache is nearly 20 years in the making for me. Soon after I began caching in November 2001, I heard about The Spot. It was reachable. Sure, a several hour drive, but I could get here. Interestingly, there was never time.
Well, it’s 2021 now. Permission is no longer needed, so I left home nine days ago and have cached my way here from New Jersey to Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania before coming to pick this up. It was just as exciting as it has read through the logs all these years. Such a beautiful area and a lovely day for a hike.
